How to Write “Happy Moon Festival” in Chinese

With the Moon Festival approaching, we would like to invite you to join us in learning how to write “Happy Moon Festival!” in Chinese.

A character in the Chinese language can represent profound concepts, just like “a picture is worth a thousand words.”

There are only six basic brush (or pen) strokes to Chinese characters. By combining the basic strokes in different ways, characters of different meanings could be formed.

When writing Chinese characters, stroke order is extremely important. The order of the strokes would always go from top to bottom, left to right, and outside to inside.

 “Happy Moon Festival!” in Chinese consist of four characters:

  中zhōng 秋qiū 快kuài 樂lè!
