Shen Yun has a mission of reviving the 5,000 years of Chinese civilization. It's an entire world full of magical stories, noble heroes, and incredible arts. A foundational part of this rich heritage is a deep spirituality centered on meditation, achieving enlightenment, and seeking to follow the Tao. These traditions are alive today in the hearts of Falun Gong practitioners, who follow the principles Zhen, Shan, and Ren (Truth, Compassion, and Forbearance). Yet, they have faced a horrifying persecution in China carried out by the Communist Party. Falun Gong practitioners have responded with nonviolent campaigns to raise awareness and peacefully touch the hearts of the Chinese people and the people of the world. This exhibit is an exciting part of their noble quest.
